A New Ethereum Vault Is Now Live on Solid

Solid started with one clear objective: make yield simple, automated, and accessible to anyone.
The first vault was USDC because stablecoins are the most widely used asset in crypto, but most of the time they sit idle. Offering a simple way to earn yield on them was the most natural starting point, and it proved the model. The FUSE vault followed, connecting FUSE holders directly into the product and aligning capital with the network Solid is built on.
Both vaults have operated smoothly since launch. That foundation is what allows us to expand.
Why Ethereum
Ethereum underpins the majority of onchain financial activity, from staking to lending to liquidity provisioning. It is one of the most widely held assets in crypto, and most users who hold ETH are not putting it to work efficiently.
The Solid ETH Vault changes that. At launch, the vault targets around 3.0% APY, meaningfully above the roughly 2.4% available through other DeFi staking options. Yield accrues automatically, with no claiming or manual management required.
Just like soUSD and soFUSE, depositing ETH mints soETH, your representation of the vault position.
From Yield to Spending
What makes the ETH Vault more than just a place to park ETH is what happens next.
Assets in Solid are not locked away. Yield flows into your Solid balance, and your Solid balance powers the card. Your ETH feeds a loop where savings produce yield, yield builds your balance, and that balance is available to spend anywhere Visa is accepted.
This is the direction Solid is headed: a single place where your assets work continuously, whether you are saving, borrowing, or spending.
How to Get Started
- Open the Savings tab in your Solid wallet
- Select the ETH Vault
- Deposit ETH and confirm the transaction
- Your position starts earning immediately as soETH
One note on the deposit flow: funds now land in your wallet first before being allocated to a vault. This gives you more control over when your assets start earning and makes the process easier to follow.
What Comes Next
USDC proved the model. FUSE connected the ecosystem. ETH expands the foundation.
This new vault launches with a focused set of conservative strategies. Over time, we will introduce additional strategies to improve diversification and optimize yield, while keeping risk management at the center of how it operates.
