Solid Weekly Update (Nov 14 – Nov 21, 2025)
.png)
Solid keeps evolving, and this week has been one for the books. Between major improvements to the Solid Card experience, smoother KYC, and a round of UI polish, we’ve also hit a historic milestone out in the wild.
Over the past few days, the team joined the community at Devcon, and for the first time ever, users created their Solid Card, activated it on the spot, and made real purchases in the real world. Watching Solid come alive beyond the screen was a huge moment, and we’re just getting started.
What’s New in the App
Cashback Is Here
Cashback rewards are now fully integrated into card transactions. Every purchase you make with your Solid Card now gives you something back. Simple as that.
Improvements & Enhancements
Smarter Card Activation & Onboarding
We’ve spent significant time tightening the card experience now that it's officially live:
- The app now automatically detects whether your card is active or frozen, skipping unnecessary steps.
- Cleaner, clearer error messages guide you through the few moments where something might need your attention.
- All “coming soon” screens are gone — the Solid Card is live, fully integrated, and reflected across the app.
- Fresh new card artwork and improved visuals across activation and card detail screens.
- Better card transaction details and updated support resources.
- The link to the card terms now points to the latest version.
- Country selection is now handled automatically, removing manual dropdowns for a faster start.
Streamlined ID Check Flow
Identity verification is now much smoother:
- Automatic country detection + access checks remove unnecessary friction.
- Updated layouts make each KYC step clearer and easier to follow.
Easier Funding & Deposits
Funding your account is now more intuitive: mobile deposit options have been simplified by removing the “connect wallet” method.
UI & Navigation Polish
- Cleaner spacing around card and referral banners.
- The Activity tab has been moved to the end to create a more natural navigation flow.
Fixes & Stability Improvements
- Fixed several APY display issues, including incorrect negative APY values.
- Resolved missing transaction details and incorrect transaction hashes in the activity feed.
- Fixed a navigation issue where you could be redirected to a previously viewed Activity page.
- Fixed visibility issues with the card waitlist button on mobile devices.
A Huge Week for Solid
At Devcon, Solid officially entered the wild. Users onboarded, activated their Solid Card, and made real purchases — coffee, food, everyday items — all using Solid. It’s one thing to build a product; it’s another to watch it work in someone’s hand for the first time.
We made history this week with our community. Thank you for being part of it.
The $50 Card Promo Is Live
To celebrate the rollout:
Order your Solid Card → Deposit $100 → Make your first purchase → Get a $50 bonus.
This promotion is running right now, and early users are already claiming it. If you haven’t activated your card yet, now’s the perfect moment.
This week’s updates were all about speed, clarity, and delivering on the excitement of getting the Solid Card into real users’ hands. As always, your feedback keeps shaping what we build next — stay tuned, and enjoy the ride.

Solid Weekly Update (Oct 27 – Nov 16, 2025)
.png)
Solid keeps evolving, and lately we’ve been focused on making Solid more powerful, secure, and easier to use while gearing up for our public card launch and the next wave of growth campaigns.
What’s New in the App
Referrals and Leaderboard
Referrals got a quality-of-life boost. There’s now an “Add Referrer” tab to make it easier to credit the friend who brought you in, plus a “Refer and Earn” banner and a quick link to view the leaderboard. It’s now much clearer how referrals work and where you stand.
Card & KYC Improvements (Getting Ready for Launch)
Behind the scenes, we’ve rebuilt key parts of the card activation flow so that when the card goes live for everyone, the experience is fast and intuitive:
- A simplified, end-to-end activation journey.
- Country selection integrated directly into the card flow.
- Smarter KYC logic, making identity checks more reliable and less error-prone.
These changes are live in the app now so that when the switch flips from “waitlist” to “card live”, everything just works.
Deposits & Transactions
Deposits were a major focus this cycle. The goal: fewer clicks, more clarity, and better feedback.
- Manage Direct Deposits
You can now delete a direct deposit session directly from the deposit modal, with a confirmation dialog to prevent accidental removal. - Fewer Steps, Less Friction
We’ve re-ordered the deposit flow to reduce the number of clicks needed to fund your account, making the whole process feel lighter and more direct. - Clearer Deposit Options
New, dedicated modals make it obvious whether you’re doing a direct deposit or funding from an external wallet, so you always know which path you’re on. - Better Pending Status
The app now checks more frequently for updates on pending deposits, so your activity feed and balances stay in sync without you having to refresh or guess.
Security, UI/UX & General Improvements
Passkey Enhancements
We’ve improved our Passkey support with:
- A recovery flow for smoother account access.
- Deeper integration into the login experience.
- Better detection of passkey support across browsers.
This makes logging in more secure and more reliable, especially for users on modern devices.
New Banners & Navigation
- New promotional banners for Cards, Deposits, and Referrals help highlight the most important actions and campaigns.
- The Card banner now takes a prominent spot on the homepage, to prepare for the upcoming launch and promo.
- We’ve added dropdown menus for the Account Center and Info Center, making navigation cleaner and easier to scan.
Mobile Homepage Refresh
- Updated the mobile homepage UI, improved spacing on the carousel banners, and applied a set of visual tweaks to tighten up the layout.
- Enhanced support for dark mode across the app for a more consistent look, day or night.
Points Banner
- The old “Extra Yield” banner has been replaced with a new “Points” banner, setting the stage for how we’ll communicate ongoing incentives and campaigns.
Fixes and Polish
- APY Display
Fixed several APY display issues so the app now correctly shows max APY and uses0instead of any negative values. - Activity Feed
Resolved a bug where transaction details could not be found and fixed incorrect transaction hashes appearing in the feed. - Navigation
Fixed a navigation issue that could sometimes send you back to a previously visited Activity page by mistake. - Mobile Layout
Corrected layout problems on the PoolStat component for small screens and fixed a bug where the card waitlist button was not fully visible on mobile.
Coming Up: Card Launch, $50 Bonus and Live Campaigns
We’re now entering a big moment for Solid.
- The Solid card is about to go live for real users, starting with our existing community and waitlist. The card tab will transition from “join the waitlist” to actually activating your card and using it.
- Alongside the launch, we’re preparing a $50 card promotion: users who order their card, deposit at least $100, and make their first spend will receive a $50 bonus, on top of card cashback. This will run as a limited-time launch campaign.
- Inside the app, we’ll highlight this with a dedicated card promotion banner in the carousel and in the card tab, so nobody misses it.
On top of that, the current Layer3 activation is already driving record signups, card signups and deposits. We’re planning follow-up quests focused more on social and community tasks (Telegram, X, ambassadors) to keep the momentum going.
Next week, we’ll also be out in the wild at events like Devconnect Buenos Aires, with on-the-ground promotion, printed materials, and a new card video to bring Solid in front of more real users.

Solid Weekly Update (Oct 05 - Oct 12, 2025)
.png)
This is a special one: it’s our first ever weekly update for Solid. Over the past months, we’ve been building hand-in-hand with our OG testers, listening closely, and improving the app step by step. Thanks to their feedback, we can now confidently say Solid is fully functional and ready for the public.
From here on, you can expect regular updates like this, giving you a transparent look at what we’ve shipped, what’s been improved, and what’s next.
And here’s a heads up: today’s update ends with a teaser you won’t want to miss. Trust us — you’re going to love it.
What’s New in the app
We’ve launched a brand-new Activity Details Page so you can explore your financial moves in more depth. Whether you want to zoom in on a single transaction or follow your flow over time, it’s now easier to see exactly what’s happening with your money.

You’ll also notice an APY display across the app. No more guessing Annual Percentage Yields are now right where you need them, making it easier to track how your balance is growing. And if you’re on mobile, the Overview page now feels smoother and more responsive, so your info is always at your fingertips.

Finally, we’ve given Deposits and Swaps a tune-up. Moving between assets or topping up is now faster and more reliable than before.
Under the hood
Some of the biggest wins this week are the little things you might not see right away:
- Activities are now grouped by time, so your history is easier to follow.
- Navigation feels snappier, thanks to improved routing.
- Loading states and referrals are cleaner, reducing friction across the flow.
Fixes and polish
We’ve tidied up chart overflow issues on mobile, trimmed unused code to lighten the app, and fixed a set of lint errors. The end result? A leaner, faster Solid that’s easier to trust day to day.
We’ve also updated some terminology for clarity: what used to be 7D APY is now called Effective Position APY, and “All-time yield” is now 30D APY. And since Ethereum now better reflects how we operate, it has replaced Fuse in our chain display.
Something huge is coming
And that’s just what we can share today. There’s more we’ve been working on behind the scenes that we’re keeping under wraps for now, because we don’t want to spoil the surprise.
What we can say is this: a first-of-its-kind product on Fuse is on the way, built in partnership with one of the world’s biggest names. As of October 2025, this company was in the 20 most valuable in the world and it even ranked #34 on Fortune’s Most Admired Companies list.
Stay tuned — this one is going to change the game.
